We have been busy registering for school and running around all over the place collecting the right documents that they need. Who knew I need dental records and an eye exam. We have registered Ella at the public school near our house, which I love and hope that we can get in, but just because it is our reside school does not mean that will happen. That is a soap box I can not get into. We have also registered Ella at St. Albert the Great Catholic School, which we also really like. Ella went with me to drop off all of the forms and she loved it. She is so happy to start kindergarten and more importantly to learn how to read. I hope she remains this eager to learn. I also started her in a open play soccer league to see if she wanted to actually play this spring and she has decided she does. She is really good at it so we are going to quit dance :(. I think she is going to be our athlete. We were at the park and she was able to make a basket in a regular height hoop. I can barely do that. I was as shocked as she was. It is amazing how well she picks sports up. Can you say college scholarship?
Parker is as cute as ever. He is talking in complete sentences. He has learned alot of the words from his sister and has also realized if he does not speak up he will not be heard over her. He of course is trying to play the same sports Ella is and gets frustrated that he can not do it. He forgets he is alot younger than Ella and it too will come or maybe he will be our dancer. Ha Ha! He is also registered in preschool next year. What will I ever do with my time. Maybe go back to work. Not a chance just yet. Brad agrees so that is good.
I am enjoying watching them play together. They do pretty good for limited amounts of time. Ella is getting better at learning to trade toys with him and work out their disagreements instead of screaming at each other. There are days that I feel like all they do is fight, but I guess that is normal. I guess part of being siblings.
