Ella started telling Brad last week that he would be going to her school to have donuts with her. She was so happy to show off her daddy to her teacher and friends. Brad said it was alot of fun. They had a little program where they sung songs and the dads had to sing back. I would love to have been a fly on the wall watching all the dads sing back. Brad said she had a good time singing her songs and showing off her dance moves. They then all had donuts. This past month they have talked alot about dad in their class to get ready for the program. The teacher also asked them to draw a picture of dad and answer a few questions. Ella said her dad liked to eat pizza and play dodge ball with her which was accurate, but Brad is also 45 and a firefighter. Too funny.
Parker has been very trying the last few days. I have honestly thought I might cry with him. He wakes up crying and continues through out the day when he does not get his way. It is so hard to listen to non stop temper tantrums all day. Just when I think I can not take it anymore he crawls up in my lap gives me the biggest hug and says love you mommy and I forget for just a few minutes how bad the day has been. I know they call it terrible 2's for a reason, but I do not remember Ella being this hard. This will to pass.
