Brad has been out of town the past week so my mom and mamaw Rose came to stay with us a few days and help out with the kids. Parker and Ella were so happy when they got here. Ella could not wait to show Nana where her school was and where she took dance. Mamaw Rose stayed home with Parker and he loved all of the attention. He is a mamaw's boy for sure. We all enjoyed them being here especially me because a week on my own can be rough at times. The kids start to miss Brad and then they start acting out. Mom and Mamaw Rose are a great distraction for them because they get constant attention. Friday friends of mine were nice enough to invite us to dinner. Something about being home on Friday night when Brad is not home is kind of depressing so we welcomed dinner with friends.
The kids were thrilled when they woke up Saturday and Brad was home. Ella even woke up in the middle of the night and Brad said she was talking his head off, but seemed to still be asleep.
Ella had a big day with Brad on Saturday. He took her to her first UofL womens basketball game and she loved it. Every sporting event we take her to is always men playing so we thought it would be great for her to see women also playing, especially considering how much she loves sports. The rest of the weekend we spent just hanging out and enjoying Brad being home.
I am so mad I forgot got to take any pics when Mamaw and Nana were here.
