Busy and Bugs

Parker had the stomach bug last Monday. It was the first time he had been sick like that and he did not know what to do. Luckily he only puked once, but he cried all night.  No matter what I did to try to sooth him it did not work for long. He thrashed around and was very angry that he felt so bad. I thought something more was wrong with him by the way he acted so Brad took him to the dr. the next morning and it was just a stomach bug. I guess because he is so little he did not know how to handle feeling that bad. I felt so bad for our little guy. By Wednesday he was running around like nothing had happened. Ella was so concerned about Parker. It was very sweet. She was very well behaved as well. I think she knew mommy and daddy were having a pretty bad day and were exhausted from not sleeping. SuSu started a good behavior fund for Ella.. so we cashed it in and took Ella to Target to pick out a toy for being such a good girl.

Parker is still not walking completely on his own. He will take a few steps and could continue walking, but wants to get their faster, which he can do by crawling. Crawling he still seems like a baby to me so I am ok if he crawls just alittle big longer. When he is standing up he look like a toddler and it makes me a little sad.

Ella is really into her friends right now. She tells me every morning what friends she would like to play with that day. Ella thinks her life is one big playdate with friends. When she is playing with her friends I love to hide and listen to their conversations. It is so cute to hear little girls chatting and squealing of course.  Parker then usually comes crawling in and destroying whatever it is they are playing with.
