That is right we are finally sleeping in this house after 7 long months. Parker went in bright and early Friday morning for ear tubes. Of course, I was a nervous for him since he was having minor surgery, but the outcome has been wonderful. Parker slept most of the day Friday, as well as, that night. Saturday he slept 9 hours. My poor baby was waking up so much because he was in pain. I am so glad he is feeling better and so are we.
Saturday evening we went to a Catholic Picnic with friends. There were 5 bouncys for Ella to play on. I thought her eyes were going to pop off of her head when she saw them. She started screaming "BOUNCYS". We all had a blast and were exhausted when we got home.
Sunday we went to meet Lachlynn Mary Patt and Stewart's new baby girl and she was precious. Hard to believe Parker was that little just 7 months ago. I love holding newborns, but I also like returning them back to mommy because I know they are not sleeping tonight.
Funny side note. Ella is trying to cut out her naps which is ok, but I still make her stay in her room for at least an hour. It is good for her to have some quiet time and more importantly I need that time as well. Today she comes down and gives me a big hug and a kiss and says, "I love You". She then tells me she does not want to nap. She is good and knows how to get her way.
