We have had a great relaxing weekend and it was nice for it to be just the four us. We have loved having everyone here the last few months or traveling, but this is the first weekend in 2 months it has been just us and we kind of forgot what it was like. Saturday afternoon we spent most of the day at the pool and then grilled out steaks. Ella tested out her new slip n' slide Pops got her as well. She loved it. Sunday Brad took Ella to "see Jesus" as Ella says and then they had a lunch date at the Waffle House. As most of you know Brad hates Waffle House however Ella and I both like it. So Ella got her way for lunch. They both enjoyed their lunch date while Parker and I caught up on some much needed sleep since he was up most of the night. That evening we went to Waterfront Park for live outdoor concerts and carnival food. Ella loves music especially live music. She danced and danced. We wrapped our long weekend up by spending today at the pool as well.

P.S. Parker slept for 9 hours Sunday night. First time in 7months. Ironically Brad and I both felt exhausted today I think because our body's are only use to getting 4 hours of sleep on a good night.
