Hump Day

We have had a fun filled busy week thus far. Monday Ella had 4 little girls come to her house and play. She LOVED it. She showed them her room, all her toys, and taught them how to play basketball. She got her feathers ruffled a little bit when they wanted to play with her "dees". This is the only thing that Ella is not willing to share. I tried to tell Ella there were two and to let them play with one and she could have the other one, but she did not like that either. Tues. we went to a gymnastics gym. Ella played on the bars, swung on the rope, and her favorite thing, jumping on the huge trampoline. She was exhausted and so was I. I had to lift her up so she could do alot of the things. My arms are feeling it today. Oh yeah did I mention I did all of this pulling and lifting why I had a baby attached to me in a carrier. Finally, Wed. we met some friends at the Arc, which is basically another open room with bounceys and things like that to play on. When it was time to go home Ella did not want to leave so I was the mother with a screaming infant and 2.5 year old I was carrying kicking and screaming out the door. I thought I might not make it through today. Ella for sure tested my patience. Whether it was throwing things if I asked her to pick something up or screaming no if I asked her to be easy with Parker. She for sure tried to rule the roost today and while she did not succeed I sure felt like there were times she almost won. In the midst of all of this chaos Parker just watched and slept. He had a very good day. Thank goodness. Wishing for a good night.
