It has been a pretty uneventful weekend. We did get about 3" snow. Of course they thought we would get alot more. Glad we did not. Saturday night Brad went to a wedding reception and I stayed home with kids. I still do not feel comfortable leaving Parker with a sitter. Hopefully soon though! Brad and I need a date night without kids. I did enjoy myself though. I put Ella to bed and I had a glass of wine and watched a chick flick. Parker slept the entire time which was nice. Sunday was my day. We all got up went to church and Brunch. Then I went shopping ALONE!!! It is amazing how quick you can get in and out of car when it is just you or turn the radio up real loud to your favorite song and not worry about waking up the baby in the back seat. As you can tell I greatly enjoyed my time away. I think time by yourself is good for any mother or at least it is for me. Ella and Parker played with daddy while I was gone. Ella always loves this. She played basketball and golf inside the house. Parker just watched and slept.
We now have a roaring fire in the fire place and I am going to make tortilla soup. No better way to spend a Sunday night.
