Christmas Day started bright and early for us just as every day does since Ella gets up at 5am. However, on this day we were thrilled to get up at 5am to see what Santa had brought us. Ella was so overwhelmed when she came down the stairs to see all of her toys that she would play with something and in seconds that was down and she was onto the next thing. This lasted for hours. I am pretty sure her favorite gift was the basketball goal. She has played with it for hours and is still thrilled about it today as well. Brad was pretty happy about it too, however Ella will not let him shoot the ball. Ella also scooted her stroller around with Dora in it most of the day. Parker slept right thru everything. He was just hoping Ella would be so happy with all of her gifts she would forget about him for awhile and stop kissing him on the head so he could sleep.
I made a big breakfast and then we all just hung out at the house all day playing toys and watching movies. A perfect way to spend Christmas Day. By about 6pm Ella was exhausted from playing and she was a little cranky. I think we were all ready to get out a little bit too.
It was a very special day for us and we all had a great time.
