Having fun with nana on the swings
What a great week it has been. Tuesday morning Ella and I made our way to Knoxville to visit the family. Ella like always took a few minutes to warm up to mom, but it did not take long until she was loving all over her. Wednesday morning we layed around and relaxed, which was just what we needed. That afternoon we visited lots of friends and family. Thursday, however was probably Ella's favorite day. We took a picnic to the park with Mamaw Rose and Nana. Ella would not even finish eating because she was so excited to get on the swing. Getting her off the swing was another story. She threw herself down on the ground and was kicking and screaming. We all just kept walking and after a few minutes she jumped up and knew it was time to go. A great time was had by all in Knoxville. It was so nice to have the opportunity to spend time with mom and mamaw rose. Ella loves her nana so much. We also visited Mamaw Cox and I could not believe how well she was doing. I was thrilled.
Thursday afternoon we made our way to Atlanta to stay with Julie and Patrick. They were wonderful hosts. Julie made Ella's favorite breakfast, chocolate chip pancakes. Ella started to warm up to Julie after that. Friday we spent half the day at the GA Aquarium with April and Andrew. Ella enjoyed it for a few minutes, but then just wanted to run around like a mad woman and was not too concerned with the fish. Oh well, I enjoyed seeing all the fish. That evening I had a wonderful dinner with my girlfriends. Even though it was a short visit, it was so nice to see everyone. Thanks again to Julie and Patrick for putting us up in their beautiful home.
I thought after leaving Atlanta I would not miss it. Of course, I knew I would miss my girlfriends, but I was surprised that I actually miss ATL as well. Not enough to go back, but I just forget all that is going on there. Believe it or not, I miss the hustle and bustle, which was one of the many reasons we left. With that being said, I love Louisville and think this is the perfect place for our family. I just hope to get to Atlanta as much as I can.
