BRRR...

It has been a cold weekend in Louisville and keeping Ella inside all day is not a good idea. She is a baby on the go. Saturday morning we went to a jungle gym and she had a blast. I even found myself in some kind of tunnel contraption wondering if we were ever going to get out. I can not wait until she is brave enough to handle these on her own. I just know one day they are going to have to send someone up to resecue us because I got stuck in one of the tunnels.

We read alot of books and played with every toy I could find in the house. I am convinced Ella can count to 5. If you say 1 she will say 2 and so forth. Ella has also learned to say her name and she points to herself when she says it. Ella pretty much repeats and does whatever you do. Brad was washing his face and he turned around and Ella is doing the same thing. I am amazed how smart she is and how quick she picks things up. Each day is an adventure with her.
Sunday we tried another church and we liked some aspects of it ,but still did not feel like it was a fit. This is the 5th one so far. It was so easy in Atlanta. I had no idea it was going to be this hard.

Oh my gosh, I can not believe I forgot to mention I have taken away the passey. This has proved to be trying for us and Ella. Friday and Saturday were ok, but Sunday has been rough. She would not nap at all. I am now listening to her scream as I type this blog. I wonder if it is worth it? We will see if I give in. She is a stubborn little girl and she may just win this battle for a few more months.

I'm dreading trying to get Julie to stop sucking her thumb. I figure that they're not going to be doing it by the time that they go to college. They'll have to quit eventually!
