Our Weekend

This weekend was very uneventful, which is just what we all needed. We spent most of our weekend relaxing and playing Wii. Yes, we have become addicted. Even Ella likes to watch us play. She will mock the movements we make when we are playing. Sunday Mary Ann and Martha came over to visit us for a little bit. It was nice to see them. They brought us a beautiful plant. It is great to have family around. Times like these are when you need your family and friends the most.

Ella has a few new things going on. Her vocabulary has doubled in the last month or so. She is trying to say I love you.

She loves my shoes. She will go in my closet pull all of the shoes out of the boxes and start putting them on as she screams 'shoes'. I have also noticed she is starting to get taller and thinner. Do not get me wrong, she still has her little belly, but her arms and legs are thinning out. Ella loves her belly too. If you ask her where it is she will pull her top over her head and point to it. She's becoming defiant and starting to ignore 'no'. When you tell her 'no' she will stop and look to see how serious I am. If she thinks she will not get in trouble she will do it again. She does know where the line is though.
