Winter Wonderland

I have to admit the snow was beautiful when it started falling Mon. night , but then it continued through Tues and Wed and I thought ok I have seen enough. It made getting to work almost impossible, but working at the newspaper there are no excuses, so I went. Ella was not a fan at all. We took her out and tried to get her to at least walk in it and that was not happening. I was excited about making snowmen and snow angels with her, but there is always next year. By Sat. afternoon it started to melt and Sun. after being stir crazy from not being able to get outside we took a walk. It felt like a heat wave. Ella did get some awesome rain/snow boots. This was her favorite part. She loves shoes. She goes through my closet trying to put on all of my shoes. She will even hand me the shoes she wants to wear and say shoes. That is my kind of girl.

I am positive terrible 2's are starting. I think she screams and crys more than she laughs. Of course, if I gave her, her way all of the time there would be no crying. She would also have burned her hands on the stove, weigh 300lbs, and destroy our entire house. I am grateful though because when she is out in public she is pretty good. With the exception of Sat. night. We went to dinner and then went to the mall to find her shoes. It started off ok, but then it ended with Brad trying to hold onto her while she kicked and screamed all the way through Macy's. Brad and I were laughing after the fact because it looked like we had abducted Ella and were taking her away from her parents, only we were the parents.
