Crazy Couple of Weeks

My good friend Leslie at her wedding in FL.

I am sorry it has been awhile since I have last blogged. I had every intention of blogging on Sunday until I started puking around 5pm. Ella has had some bathroom issues and of course I get the worse case scenario. I was out of work on Monday, but am finally starting to fell ok today. Ella never did act sick at all. I guess she has a better immune system that I do.

We have had alot of things going on the last few weeks. Brad and I went to my childhood friends wedding the weekend before last in Boca Raton and we had so much fun. It was the first time I had been away from Ella more than 2 days and while we both missed her very much it was good for us. My mom and grandmother were so great to come and watch her for the time we were gone. Ella had so much fun. I asked mom if Ella had any meltdowns and she said of course not. I then asked did you tell her no and she says, " not exactly". I am wondering if Ella even missed us, because she did not miss a beat.

Halloween was a blast. I have never seen so many kids out in our neighborhood. I love where we live. Ella was the cutest lady bug I have ever seen. She however was not too fond of the hood. She kept it on long enough for me to take a few pictures and then off it went. Saturday morning Brad had to work so Ella and I hung at home and played. I am truly amazed at all of the words she is starting to say. Lately she has started jumbling words together to try to make a sentence. Brad and I just kind of look at each like WOW. She has also become very attached to her webinz deer. This deer goes everywhere with her. Brad took Ella to school on Monday morning while I stayed home to try and get better. Around 4pm I finally was able to get enough energy to go pick her up. Unfortunately, I get there and realize the deer is not at school and I kind of remember Ella having it when Brad took her to school. I get Ella in the house and she runs around the house in circles crying. Up to her room she goes to look in her bed and the deer is no where to be found. She falls on the floor and starts screaming and crying. I tried to console, but she was so mad at me. Like I had taken the deer. I tried other stuffed animals and nothing worked. She just threw them right back at me. Normally I would get upset with her for this type of behavior, but under the circumstances I understood. Brad calls in his sweet I am so sorry voice to tell me he did have the deer. After an 1.5 hours of Ella freaking out I finally got her calmed down and to bed without the deer, so when Brad called I could be some what cordial. To say the least Brad is on a hunt to find another deer as back up. I for sure do not want to go through that again!
