Brad was out of town on Thursday and got back Friday night. We were all so glad for the week to be over to have some time to relax. Brad and I had pretty much been passing each other in the hallways with his work schedule and mine too. Saturday afternoon we made it to the UofL football game. We even got to tailgate and stay for most of the game. It was a perfect game day. A girlfriend I worked with offered to watch Ella so Brad and I could go. We got back just in time to play with Ella a little bit before she had to go to bed.
Sunday was all about Ella we had her favorite breakfast, cheesy eggs and biscuits and then hung around the house most of the day. We had lots of time outside and strolling around the neighborhood. I have found her favorite treat and it is yogurt covered pretzels. I went to put them up and she had a melt down. She was banging on the pantry door for more. I walked off and let her have her tantrum and finally after about 10mins she gave up. The funny thing is once Brad walked in the house she started it all over again. She knows who lets her have her way.
Her new word is Boo and Nana. I have been working hard on Nana because my mom and grandmother are coming to stay next week and I want to make sure she can say it. I think she thinks Nana is a banana, but once she can relate mom to Nana she will have it down.
