A Week of "Firsts"

It's been a week of big "firsts" for Ella, starting with her first bath, which she did not like very much (but daddy did a great job). We also had our first family trip to the mall. My mom was nice enough to give me some money to buy a few very needed things. Ella and mommy both loved shopping! Ella knows her mommy is a shopper and I am sure we will do alot of shopping together in the future. Daddy better watch out!! Also, as daddy was pushing her stroller through Perimeter Mall with his Starbucks in one hand and cell phone in the other, he couldn't have looked any more "waspy" if it were tattooed across his forehead.

Also, we were also lucky enough to have Ella's grandma (aka- Mandy's mom) in town for a few days helping us out with cooking, cleaning and playing with Ella. It was a tremendous help. Grandma Torbett can come and stay anytime.

It has been nice seeing all of my girlfriends this week coming to visit Ella. Ella was very happy to meet Julie (Ellen and Walter's little girl). I know they will be the best of playmates very soon. I can not wait for Ella to meet Camille, Camille's little brother coming in September, and Mira and John's little girl (also coming in Sept).
