First Day Home!

After 5 long days in the hospital, we were all very excited to get home for the first time. Bailey on the other hand, was not so excited. He enjoyed a few days with his girlfriend, Amber, and I think he's missing her. Thanks so much to April and Scott for taking care of Bailey while we were gone. It was a tremendous help.

The first night at home was both wonderful and tiring. Ella has chosen to stay awake both day and night ... unless of course she is sleeping on our chest. While this is such a wonderful feeling for the first 2 hours or so, by 4 am you start to think maybe this is not such a good idea. However, it is so hard to put her down. We had her peditrician appt today and she got a clean bill of health. We are very lucky she is so healthy ... if only mom and dad weren't so messed up!

It was nice seeing Ellen, Ally and Julie today to introduce our new baby girl to them. I have been dying for Ellen to meet her for the first time. I know Julie and Ella will have many fun times together. It is so nice to have such wonderful friends in Atlanta with everyone coming to see us, bringing us dinner, and offering to help in anyway they can means alot.

Now it's time to go to bed ... hopefully ...
