Thanksgiving Day Week

It has been a great week in the fact that we have had family for part of it, but I do wish it was not to attend a funeral for Brad's grandfather. He was 97 and lived a wonderful life. He also left behind 17 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren. Ella has loved spending time with all of the great grandchildren this past week. Ava is only a year older than her and they had a great time.

The Friday after Thanksgiving we have made a tradition of getting our tree and decorating the house for Christmas. Ella was really into it this year and helped hang many of the ornaments. It was great to have a little helper(I think). She loved seeing all of the ornaments mamaw Rose passed down to me especially all of the disney characters. Brad also had his tradition of hanging Carl Malone front and center on the tree. Our house is now all ready to celebrate Christmas. I even lost my mind and went shopping at Wal-Mart on Thursday night. It was CRAZY, but I got what I needed and saved over $100 so it was successful. What I do for my kids!
