After a rough start to this past week with us all having terrible stomach bugs we were back to ourselves this weekend. We a fabulous weekend and it was perfect fall weather. The leaves are starting to change and there was a crisp breeze in the air. I love it and so do the kids.
Saturday afternoon we took both kids to the UofL football game. We were not sure if this was going to be a good idea or not, but it turned out to be alot of fun. Parker loved it just about as much as Ella did. We stayed for the entire game which was a shock to us. Ella is looking forward to her next game, which is just about every weekend since Brad has season tickets.
Sunday we took the kids to Hubers Farm. This has become a tradition with us. Normally, Pops and Susu come along too, but we were sad this year they could not make it. Hopefully next year. The kids rode the tractor pull to the pumpkin patch where Ella found the perfect pumpkin. We saw horses, ducks, and huge fish that the kids fed. We could not leave with out having a good old country lunch of fried chicken, ham, mashed potatoes, and cobbler (ella and parker's favorite).
It was a wonderful fall weekend with the family. Just what we needed.
