Out for the Summer

Ella had her school party on Thursday and daddy joined us for a picnic lunch at the school to celebrate. Ella was happy for daddy to come to her school so she could show him all of her friends and things she has been doing in school. She is very sad it is over for the summer and so am I. Ella adored Mrs. Taylor and is insistent that she will be her teacher next year. I know Ella will be heart broken when she realizes it is not Mrs. Taylor, but will come to love her new teacher too.

Ella had a very good progress report for the year other than she has trouble taking her time on her artwork because she wants to play and talk to her friends. Mrs. Taylor said when she spends the time on it is perfect, but more times than not she rushes through it. My little social butterfly. I guess she takes that after her mommy and we need to work on taking our time on our school work.

We have a big summer planned with 2 vacations, dance lessons, vacation bible school, and lots of time playing at the pool with our friends.
