I had the camera this past weekend so Brad was unable to take pictures, but the kids had so much fun with him and while I know they were ready to see mommy I think they could have had just a few more days with Brad being spoiled. Friday they went to the UofL baseball game. Ella loves all things sports especially when her friend Riley is there and she has hotdogs and popcorn for dinner. Parker enjoyed it as well.
Saturday they headed over to ChurchHill Downs for the junior jockey day. Both kids were able to to pet their first race horse, meet a few jockeys, and watch the horse races. It is a first for Ella and Parker. Brad said they were both loving every minute of it. Ella came home with a toy horse that she named bruester. We have no idea where the name came from. Bruester eats peas and carrots, but macaroni and cheese is his favorite. She lets him eat out of her plate. I think Brad could handle them for at least a week so maybe next time ladies we need to go for alittle longer. If only I could make it. I was really missing them by Sunday and was ready to get home to all 3 of them. I had driven myself to the airport on Friday and on Sunday I get off the plane and Brad had surprised me and brought them down to wait on me at the airport. I think I might have shed a tear when I got off the plane and there they came running to me. How thoughtful of him and I was just so surprised to see them. It was wonderful.
