Pumpkin Carving

It was the Lesshafft annual Pumpkin Carving. Brad really gets into it. We use to do it together before we had kids and then Brad insisted I get my own pumpkin because my carving technique was not up to par with his. Then kids came and everything changed. We have one pumpkin Ella draws the shapes on it and then Brad cuts it out. We really do not care what it looks like. Honestly, I never did! This year Parker sat on the counter and grabbed a peach out of the fruit bowl and managed to make his own mess. I guess he thought if they are throwing pumpkin guts all over the place he needed to join in someway. Brad tried to get Ella to clean the guts out of the pumpkin and she thought it was gross so she just watched. She was very excited to her pumpkin on the front porch and light it. We all can not wait until Halloween this year. We are having a little party with our neighborhood friends and then all tricker or treating together. I can already taste those Reese cups.
