Lesshafft Family Vacation

We had a wonderful time with the family in Isle of Palm this past week. Ella had so many adventures while she was there. The most significant was driving the horse and buggy while we were in Charleston. Ella loves all animals and she was so excited to pet "Scout" and thank him for the ride. She also caught crabs and petted a few fish too.

Our good friends and neighbor were also staying at Isle of Palm that week so Ella was so surprised to see her BFF Ava. They played for hours. Parker was still not sure of the beach. He did spend a little time playing in the sand or I guess you can say eating it. We were so thankful for Pops and Susu for watching Parker so we could spend some time on the beach with Ella.

Ella really took to Uncle Ben this year and she is still talking about him. He and Megan took Ella to the beach a few times as well. Parker had his time of being held and sleeping on Pops and Susu instead of his bed, which made him extremely happy. Parker also started army crawling on Saturday. He manages to get where he wants to go.

The house we stayed in was perfect and I can not thanks Pops and Susu enough for treating us to it, as well as, helping take care of the kids so we could have a date night.

We stopped in Knoxville on the way back so Ella and Parker got some good Nana time in too.

This next week is "mommy bootcamp". The kids are going to have to get back into going to bed on time, eating healthy, taking naps, and doing what I say. Ella also starts school on Thursday. I know she is going to love it.
