We just got back from an amazing week at the beach, and Mandy will post about that later on. In the meantime, I wanted to blog for a change about an even bigger deal ... Ella's first U of L football game.
While I'm convinced she was not 100% aware of exactly what was happening on the field, the fact that I have trained/brainwashed my daughter to be a Louisville fan is a major accomplishment in my book. Not only did she love the game, but she really liked the marching band, the fireworks, the yelling, and don't forget the popcorn, ice cream, hot dogs, etc I bribed her with to get her to stay in her seat so dad could actually see some of the game.
Regardless, she really did have a great time, and she is very happy with her pom-poms, as well as the new 'Go Cards' cheer she learned today.
