Ella has become my little helper with laundry, cooking, cleaning, and making up beds. I wish she would be as helpful about picking up her toys as she is with helping me. She will say it needs just a little bit when I am cooking. If I am putting detergent in the wash she will say just a little bit. She does not miss one thing you say or do. Sometimes I do not even realize she picked it up from Brad or I. I asked her what her name was and she said Ella Lesshafft and I am 3. I ask who am I and Ella says mommy. Mommy Lesshafft I ask? Nope just mommy she repeats. Hmmm. I am trying to work with her on writing her first name but the E is about all we have down so far. She is eager to learn.
Parker is moving right along. He is not crawling, but some how manages to get where he wants to go by scooting, rolling, or pulling. I think Ella running circles around him is encouraging him to learn how to crawl. Sometimes she is so sweet with him and will play and share her toys and other times she takes whatever he has and runs off with it. He freaks out. He has 3 top teeth that have almost cut through. They are really bothering him along with allergies, so he has been spending alot of time at night awake in my arms. I know this shall pass soon I hope.
