Memorial Day Weekend

What an exciting weekend we had filled with friends and family. It was a very special weekend for Parker because he was baptized. Family started arriving on Friday and by Saturday afternoon Pops, SuSU, Ben and Megan, Nana, M.Cox and M.Rose were all here. Ella was thrilled and did not know what to do with herself. Of course, she thought all of the family was here for her and that was ok since Parker had no clue what was going on other than he was spoiled rotten the entire time. He loved being held and the attention. I always say once the grandparents leave I have to put the kids through detox because there are unbearable for the first few days from getting everything they want. I guess that is what grandparents do. We were lucky enough to have Pops and SuSu here until Tues.

Saturday evening we all went out to dinner and enjoyed sitting outside catching up. Sunday was as crazy as ever trying to get everyone ready and out the door. The baptism was perfect and Parker was an angel just taking it all in. It was so nice to have everyone here to share in our special day. We had lunch at our house and then Nana and the Mamaw's had to head back to Knoxville. Ella was very sad they had to leave and so was Parker. M.Cox still has the touch with babies and Parker was just as content and calm in her arms. So sweet.

Ella has been asking for Pops, SuSu, and Nana a few times a day. It breaks my heart. She does understand that they have to go home and work though. It is also a little easier because she knows they will be back real soon for her birthday.
