We had a fabulous Easter Weekend. Saturday morning we started off at church for another Easter egg hunt. Ella must have collected at least 30 eggs. Luckily, many of them were filled with stickers instead of candy. Brad took care of the kids Saturday afternoon so I could go shopping and buy myself a new dress. First dress I have bought in over a year so I was so excited. Saturday night we were all eagerly awaiting the Easter Bunny. Sure enough he showed up, but the Easter Bunny forgot to put Ella's basket back on her dresser after filling it up so Ella woke up Sunday morning screaming because she thought her basket was gone. We all walked down stairs to find it filled with treats and toys. She was very pleased to know the Easter Bunny had not forgotten her.
Sunday morning we all headed to church in our matching outfits. Yes, we all wore yellow. Have we turned into that family? It was kind of cute though. Ella loved her new dress and did not want to take it off. Parker loved his new outfit too. After church we went to brunch and then after naps headed over to our neighborhood Easter Egg Hunt. This was our 5th egg hunt if anyone is counting. By Sunday mommy and daddy were exhausted from our busy weekend and so sick of looking at plastic eggs which had taken over our house. I might have thrown a few way.
Parker's big new is he was 4 months old on Saturday. Hard to believe. My precious baby is growing up so fast. He has also started to roll over from his tummy to his back. This makes it hard for tummy time. My little boy is so strong.
