Atlanta

It has been about a year since we had been to Atlanta and I was dying to see all of my girlfriends and their new babies. April, Mira, and Ellen have all had babies in the last few months. We got to Julie and Patrick's Thursday evening. Julie and Patrick were wonderful host and Ella loved playing with Julie the entire time we were there. Friday morning we headed up to Ellen's to see their new house. Ellen's 3 kids were there my, 2 and Mira's 2. It was like a day care. It was so fun for me to see all of the kids playing together. I wish our kids lived closer so we could watch them grow up together. That evening all the girls headed out to dinner without kids. It was so much fun. I was able to catch up with everyone without being interrupted by Ella. It was so nice for Brad to stay back at Julie's so I could have a kid free night. Saturday morning we shopped a little and met Bill and Susie for lunch. That afternoon we headed over to April's to meet their new addition and celebrate Patrick's dedication to the church. It was so good to see them. We enjoyed driving around the old neighborhood too.

It is funny every time Brad and I go back the first day we both think, WOW how much we miss Atlanta and all of the great things the city has to offer, but by day 2 of sitting in traffic and dealing with the people we know we have made the right decision. The hardest part for me about not living in Atlanta is my girlfriends, but it is so great we all keep in touch and I can visit.
