Louisville got about 5" of snow on Thursday. Brad was very eager to take Ella sledding to see what she thought of it. Last year she hated it. Brad loaded up the sled and they went to a park that has huge hills. Ella did not like walking or touching the snow, but she loved sledding. The thrill of going fast is what she has always liked. Brad had to carry her and the sled up the hill every time they went down and then sit Ella on the sled so that she would not have to walk or touch it. To say the least when he got home he was exhausted.
Now about the Choo Choo. Sunday afternoon we loaded both kids up and headed to the train show. There were two kinds of people there, those with their kids like us and those that looked like sci fi nerds except it was train nerds. Ella loved looking at all of the trains they had set up. I do have to say all the little villages were impressive, but not enough for me to go with out kids or spend hours watching the train go around in circles. Ella's favorite thing to do was ride the train they had set up there. She got the hang of it real quick. After leaving there we attempted our first eating out experience with both kids. Parker pooped all over his clothes and we had to change him and then he wanted to eat, but is not liking the bottle so that is a battle. Ella was actually pretty good, until we got in the car and then she was screaming and of course he was too. Not a very successful lunch, but we will try again soon.
