Girls Weekend

Ella and I had a girls weekend. Not quite the same as Brad's guys weekend at HorseShoe Casino, but we had a great time too. She is always so good and sweet when it is just us, especially now. I am not sure if she can tell I am starting to slow down, but she allows me to sit and play with her instead of chasing her and rough housing. We played with play-dough, colored, and read lots of books. We also just laid on the couch and snuggled and giggled. That is my favorite part. Ella is so sweet. She tells me over and over how much she loves me and she will rub my face and hands like I do her and then ask me if I am tired.

While we were home we started putting away her summer clothes. Of course she was my little helper. It is hard to believe summer is over. I do love the fall. I love everything from the colors to the cooler temperature, and knowing that the holidays are right around the corner. They are so special with young children around. Not that I have not always liked the holidays, but it makes me appreciate what I have and how blessed I am to have a wonderful husband, little girl, and a baby boy on the way to share them with.
