School birthday party.
Still not feeling very good.
Playing with Nana.
Poor sick baby.
Ella turned 2- years old today. It is so hard for me to believe my sweet baby is really not a baby. She is turning into a little girl with her own personality and WANTS. I love watching her grow each day. It is a true joy ... even the not so good days are good. We are blessed to have a healthy, sweet, loving, little girl.
We had a big party planned for her this weekend at the park with all of her little friends. Of course, the cake, ice cream, and goody bags were all ready to go too. Ella had other plans. She started vomiting at 11:30 that morning, and by the time she woke up from her nap her temp was 102 so we had to cancel the birthday party. I felt so bad for her that her birthday party was cancelled and that she was sick on her birthday. I was glad that she did not know she was having a party because seeing her disappointed on her birthday would have broken my heart. I was hoping maybe it was a short bug, but at 2:30am she woke up puking again, so I knew it was at least a 24hour bug. Nana and Pops were so great to help me bathe her and lay with her so I could try to get a little sleep, but of course I just laid in bed listening to make sure she was not puking anymore. I just needed to be right there. I guess that is why I am mommy!
Sun. after she woke from her nap she was back to her old self. She was eating again and running around like a mad woman. I was glad that she was able to have cake on her birthday.
Happy Birthday Sweet BABY!

Poor baby! I hate that she was sick, but like you said, at least she did not know what she was missing. I hope she had a happy birthday despite feeling bad.
Poor Angel! I am glad she rallied and was able to eat cake! that's the best part!
So it looks like Brad added his token picture. Brad got an Elmo costume to dress up for all of the kids but since the party was cancelled it seems he had alittle fun of his own.
