Ella's Favorite Holiday

We spent Thanksgiving this year with Mary Ann, Jerry and her family. We really enjoyed spending time with them. Ella was in awe of the boys running around like crazy. When we first got there she stood back and just watched. But she slowly warmed up and started running around with them. The food was wonderful, and as I thought, Ella loved it. Thanksgiving is Ella's favorite Holiday. It is all of her favorite foods. She ate more than any of the children, and all of them were older than her. Brad and I enjoyed the good food as well.

Brad was off on Friday, but I had to work. As many of you all have probably already heard, I sent him to Toys R Us to buy Ella her kitchen for Christmas. If you got there by 1pm you saved $50.00, so of course it was worth it ... or at least I thought so. He stood in line for over 2 hours and had a few "not so nice" conversations with crazy women trying to cut in front of him. He made it out with the kitchen. I think next year I will be standing in line at Toys R Us :).

Saturday we celebrated my birthday with a nice dinner and then met a few friends out. It was the perfect birthday, as Brad always makes them special! I love my ice cream cake too.

Ella is starting to really test the waters with us. Nothing is off limits to her. I have tried to put everything up that I do not want her playing with, but I really can not remove blinds from windows, ovens and other things that are attached to the house. I try to use other words than "no", because when I tell her no she either throws herself on the ground and starts screaming or looks at me and shakes her head no and continues to do whatever it is I do not want her to do. Then the next minute she is up in my lap giving me kisses and being the best snuggle bunny. She has a switch and I wish I could keep it turned to sweet Ella all of the time.

Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving.

I can not wait to see my Atl girls next weekend!!!!
