Happy Birthday Baby Girl.

I woke up Sat. morning and told Brad I can not believe a year ago today Ella was born. Time sure flies! It has been the best year of our lives. Ella is truly a blessing and makes being a mother so special. It is hard work, but all so worth it. She is changing so much each day. Looking at her I do not see the baby face anymore :( She looks more like a toddler now. She is pulling up on everything and cruising right along. Today for the first time, she used her walker and was so excited when she realized she was moving on her own without help. My dad joked that he and Ella could learn to walk together. Hopefully they will both be walking together soon.

We went to Knoxville on Friday. My dad is doing so much better, and it was so nice for me to see him in good spirits. On saturday we had a small birthday party for Ella in his hospital room. Ella was so good while we were there. Saturday evening we went over to Chuck-E-Cheese with mom, Chad and Jenna. Ella was not sure about the dancing animals on the stage at first, but after a few minutes she started giggling and dancing to the music. There were a few rides she could play on too. Her favorite part was the pizza. Not the best pizza I have had, that is for sure. We got back this evening and are just getting ready for the upcoming week. Whew, how fast the weekends fly by.
