Whew, I was sure glad when the weekend got here, but I am sad it went by so quickly. Saturday I helped host a shower for Julie at a place called "Chocolate Bar". The desserts (as you can imagine from the name) were great. Julie received some really nice gifts as well. That afternoon, while I was gone, Brad and Ella hung out all day. They went and walked around the mall. You have to get Ella out at least once a day or she is fit to be tied. That evening we went to a Mardi Gras party. Our neighbor, Lisa was nice enough to watch Ella for us. Sunday it was mommy and Ella day. We read lots of books and she played in her boucey seat ... Ella's all-time favortie thing to do. She is starting to say "bye bye", and while I do not think she has a clue what she is saying, it is still neat. I must have said "ma ma" 1000 times today hoping just once she would say it back.
Ella is really starting to love bath time. She splashes around and giggles. Most times Brad looks like he has taken a bath as well. Since Ella was born Brad has taken over bath time and for the most part it was nice for me, but now that Ella likes to play I try to get in on bath time too. I am lucky he is so great with her. It sure makes things easier on me.
