Weekend update

My really good friend Leslie got into town on Fri. night from D.C. Her and I pretty much grew up together. We lived down the street from each other as young kids and and have remained friends every since. On to our weekend. Sat. we shopped alittle bit and went to the Grape to have wine and appetizers. That evening was so much fun. It is not very often I get to have a night out on the town with my girlfriends so I took advantage. We went to this really neat resturant in Midtown and then afterwards we enjoyed listening to a jazz band they also had there.

Sunday we spent the whole day with Ella and Bailey at Piedmont Park. It is already getting really cold in D.C. so Leslie wanted to take advantage of our warmer weather. Ella of course was as cute as ever and showed Les all her new tricks. Ella has really gotten good at holding her toys. She loves to just lay and enterain herself. She truely is a great baby. I can not believe each day how many new things she can do.

Daddy deserves a shout out, for watching Ella so I could run around with Leslie this weekend. It was a nice treat.

I have 3 huge presentations in Chicago Wed and Thurs. I am sad I have to leave Ella overnight but after this week work should slow down and I can catch my breath for a change. I need a week of rest.
