Sports and friends

We have had a few big weekends in sports. Parker is on his first ever soccer team and had his first game this past Saturday. He loved it. Many of the kids were on the field screaming for their parents or just on the sidelines. Parker was front and center chasing after the ball the entire time, while Brad sat in the stands and watched him. He loved every minute of it.

Ella started a "co-ed flag football team" However there are 19 boys and one girl, which is Ella. She does not care at all that she is the only girl. Actually, I think she likes it. She played great defense today and kept a kid from scoring, as well as, pulled a few flags. She is rough and tough out there. No, it was not my idea for her to play. She told me she was playing and I am all for letting her play anything she wants to.

Friday night Ella and I went to a girlscouts pj party. I had offered to help chaperone. I showed up in my pjs too and helped chaperone over 100 screaming girls. It was actually a lot of fun though. We got our nails painted, danced, ate hotdogs, and played all kinds of games. I was glad it was not an overnight pj party. Not sure I am ready for that just yet.
