We had a funfilled Labor Day Weekend. Saturday we got up early and took the kids to the Indianpolis Childrens Museum. It is only about 1.5hrs from us. We spent close to 5 hours there and had so much fun. They had the hotwheels exhibit there and the kids loved it. There were real race cars displayed from 1960's and all kinds of interactive racetracks set up for the kids to race the hotwheel matchbox cars on. They also had a mini city set up of Egypt complete with a miniature house, cafe, and city market. The kids loved working in the cafe and serving up food. It was a fantastic day and we were all exhausted by the time we got home that night.
Sunday was the big UofL UK game. Brad headed out early and tailgated all day. The kids and I went to church and stayed after for the picnic. The rest of the day we hung at home and watched a few movies and played. We needed some downtime after the busy week we have had. Today I took on a huge project of sanding and painting our bathroom cabinets. I am very pleased with the outcome, but it was an exhausting project.
