Vacation Bible School

We all had a fun week at Vacation Bible School. The first day Parker was so eager. He walked into his class and said " I Parker and I 2, bye bye mommy." I thought this is perfect. No meltdowns etc... Well, I was wrong. After he realized that he was going to be there for 3 hours and it was everyday he pitched a fit. He screamed and cried for me. This went on for the next 4 days, but the teacher said he did great and once I left he seemed to be having a great time. Ella loved every second of it. She learned songs, bible verses, created alot of artwork, and played outside. I also enjoyed volunteering. I had to make sure an make myself scarce around Parker's class, but Ella loved when I helped in her room. I am so grateful that I am able to stay home and participate in activities like this. I have my wonderful hard working husband to thank for allowing to be able to do so.

Sunday during church they had the wrap up. The kids went to the front of the congregation and sang the songs they had learned. Parker and Ella both got right up there in the front row and performed their hearts out. It was very cute.

Check out Parker in his new big boy bed. Brad and I have spent all weekend refinishing the bed and painted the walls. It has been a huge process, but it was time.
