We have had the best Christmas yet. The kids woke us up bright and early on Christmas Day morning. We all ran downstairs to see what Santa had brought. I can not even explain the joy I saw in both of their faces when they saw all of the gifts layed out. Ella told Brad and I both numerous times this is the best Christmas ever. It melted my heart. We spent the morning playing with all of our toys and then we headed to Nana's house for a few days. The kids were ready to get there to open more gifts and tell Nana about what all Santa had brought. Nana out did herself like always and the kids were thrilled with all of their toys. Not really sure where we are going to put them all. We were so glad to visit with uncle chad, the mamaws, and uncle garland and Judy.
Monday afternoon Mom watched the kids and I had a wonderful visit with my highschool girlfriends. Crazy to think that we are spread all over the place, but we still manage to keep a close realtionships after 20 years. What special friendships we have. I would not trade them for the world.
It has been a wonderful Christmas and we are so lucky to have such a great family to spend it with. Watching Christmas through our kids eyes brings so much happiness to me.
