Ella had her 4yr doctor appt on Friday and I had been told that it is a hard one and everyone was right. I had Brad come home to watch Parker. I knew I could not manage chasing him around and help console Ella all at the same time and it was a good thing I did. Ella was freaking out when we went in, but then they put on tangled and that helped calm her down for alittle bit. Prixing her finger to draw blood was probably the most tramatic for her. It did take myself and 2 nurses to hold her down for the shots, but she only cried for a second. The results of the blood work came back great. She weight 44lbs (95%) and 44.5" tall (99%). Ella is for sure not getting the height from my side of the family. She may soon be taller than me. Her vision was great and her blood pressure was low.
I feel like Parker has been left out a little bit on the blog lately, but believe me at home that never happens. He demands attention more than his sister does these days. His vocabulary is starting to really improve. He will pretty much try to repeat most anything you say and some of the time you can actually understand what he is saying. He and Ella do ok playing together as long as she does what he wants and how it wants to do it. He will give her hair a little tug if she is not and that is when playing together turns into fighting. However, sometimes Ella just gets so tired of it she gets a book to look at and gets out of his way. We have started introducing time out to him. While he does not totally understand yet, h
e does get he has done something wrong and has to take a break. Parker is also a very sweet loving little boy. He loves women and will just walk up to them and give them a hug. He is still mommy's little cuddle bug too.
