The North Pole

That is right the we all headed to the North Pole on Saturday night via the Polar Express and what an adventure it was. Ella was in awe of everything. As we started to edge closer to Santa's house Ella was really quiet and just watched. The house was all lite up with lights and the barn by the house even had Rudolph's head sticking out of the window. Santa waved at us from his home and then jumped on our train along with Rudolph. After we were finished with our cookies and hot chocolate Santa had made his way to our train car. Ella gave him a hug, but then she forgot to remind him she wanted a train table. She started crying and it was so sad. I kept telling her we were dropping Santa off at the mall and she could tell him there so that made it much better. We also have an Elf that follows us around the house to make sure Ella and Parker are good so we made sure to let the Elf know so he could report back to Santa.

Parker was a nightmare on the train ride. He wanted to get down on the floor and crawl and when he could not he proceeded to scream so  Brad or I one spent most of the time in aisle walking back and forth. It was all still worth it to see how happy Ella was. Next year hopefully Parker will be in awe of everything as well.

Less than 2 weeks until Santa is here. I can not wait for the kids to come down the stairs and see what Santa brought them. I may be more excited than they are.
