Christmas Day

Christmas Eve Post is Below.

I rolled over at 6am and all of the kids were still snug in their bed. I was dying for them to wake up so we could see what Santa had brought them. At 6:30 I heard Ella and Parker both stirring so I ran in Ella's room to tell her I think Santa had come. She jumped out of bed like a firecracker to wake up daddy so she could  race down the stairs. She ran straight for the train table and her face lite up and she was smiling from ear to ear. Parker was also happy to start ripping off paper and playing with his new toys. He may have not understood what was going on, but he sure loved playing with all the toys Santa left him. Brad and I just sat back and watched the kids and looked at each other grinning from ear to ear. Santa was so good to all of us this year.

After a big breakfast and a few hours of playing we loaded everyone in the car to to head to Nana's house and do it all over again. Ella was bouncing off the walls when she got there and was immediately under the tree to see what had her name on it. Of course, Nana caved and let her open 1 gift before dinner.  After dinner Ella sat patiently waiting for everyone else to eat and then she was ready to open.  It looked like Santa had arrived all over again except it was Nana, Mamaw Cox and Rose.  At one point I heard at least 4 toys singing a different tune.

We had a wonderful Christmas and we are so blessed to have each other and a wonderful family.
