We had a pretty busy weekend but it was great. The weather was beautiful so we spent some time at the park playing and Ella rode her tricycle. I am pretty sure this is the last weekend for us to be outdoors and I am dreading being stuck in the house with the kids. We all go stir crazy.
Driving around this weekend in the evening Ella noticed all of the Christmas Lights and she insisted we have lots of lights and a blowup thing that she saw at Home Depot in our front yard. Brad loves the lights, but he has always said over his dead body would there be any type of blow up contraption in our front yard. Well, I think he is going to be eating his words. He did say, "well I guess if it is a small one". Funny how things change if your child wants it. Ella is driving us crazy wanting us to put the lights up now. We tell her everyday it is our tradition that we put the tree up Thanksgiving weekend, but that is not cutting it with her. Before her nap the other day I said fine I will put up lights so she would take a nap and when she woke up she said. "mommy remember we are putting the lights on the house". I forget she has a memory of gold.
Parker is as busy as ever. He is getting braver and trying to take a step here and there, but I think or hope it will still be a few weeks before he is walking. He is already into everything so I can only imagine what my days are going to be like when he starts walking. I am barley going to be able to catch him. I am sure mommy Ella will make sure to tell me where he is and correct him when he is doing wrong.
