Parent Teacher Conference

We had Ella's first parent teacher conference today and let me just say how impressed I am with the preschool, as well as, our sweetlittle girl. Ella was evaluated on sharing, taking turns, adjusting to transition, circle time, and attentiveness. She is excelling in all of those areas. Mrs. Taylor also told us how kind hearted Ella is and that she is loved by her friends. All attributes that makes a parent smile ear to ear. Her only challenge is speech. She is still having problems stuttering. It has alot to do with the placement of her tongue, which is something that she will not necessarily grow out of, so we are going to have her evaluated and will probably enroll her in speech therapy. Even though she stutters while speaking at times Mrs. Taylor said she was impressed by Ella's extensive vocabulary and willingness to communicate, so that is all great news.
