Our first week home.

Santa came early(a.k.a.) Nana

Her first Barbie and Barbie Car.

I was finally able to bring Parker home on Sunday. I was thrilled to be home with both of my kids and out of the hospital. This experience was so much better than Ella's. Everything was calm and I did not experience any complications. The recovery was still very rough, but I feel I recovered much quicker this time around. Of course, once I got home I pushed myself a little too much and felt the aches and pains. Hard not to when you have a 2.5 year old at home that has missed her mommy for 4 days and trying to adjust to a sibling in the house. Ella has done remarkably well though. She is very sweet to Parker. She helps me take care of him and runs up and down the stairs when I need something. She is also very clingy to both Brad and I, which is to be expected. She has had a lot of changes and to top it off, Brad was gone the entire week for his classes and then out of town for work. She was thrilled when she woke up this morning and found him home. Thank goodness for Brad's parents and my mom and grandmother. I could not have made it this week without all of them. They have taken us to all of the dr. appt, cleaned up the entire house, and cooked dinner every night. I sure wish they all lived closer. I hope I will be ok next week as it will be my first week on my own with 2 kids.

Parker is doing great. He is a much more laid back baby than Ella was. He is nursing much better than she did or maybe it is because I know exactly what to do. The only thing is, is he eats every 2hours so I am not sleeping much, but I know it will be short lived. His first dr. appt was on Thursday and he is doing great. He is almost back to his birth weight. He is 75% for height, 50% for weight, and 25% for his head. He seems so much smaller to me than Ella was. One lbs makes a huge difference on a baby.
