Hitting the pinata at our neighborhood party.
I bought Ella her own pumpkin to paint.
I am just now getting around to blogging about our weekend. I will try to post pics tonight. Brad is in class on Mon. and Tues so to say the least by the time I work all day and take care of Ella I am exhausted.
My mom and grandmother arrived on Friday afternoon. Ella was so glad to see them. She had been asking when Nana was going to come and see her. She ran straight to her arms and pretty much stayed right by her side the entire weekend. It was nice for me. I was able to bum around on the couch. At 34 weeks pregnant I am not quite as quick as I used to be and Ella wants me to sit in the floor most of the time. I can get down there, but getting up is not so easy. Saturday afternoon Brad went to play golf with some friends the rest of us hung out at home most of the day. All Ella could talk about is when was she going to be able to go trick er treating. Finally 4:00 came and we went to our neighborhood block party. Ella had so much fun with all of the kids. They even had a pinata for everyone to hit. Ella enjoyed that too. After spending a couple hours there we headed out to trick er treat. Ella had the concept down quickly. She would say trick er treat and then thank you and off to the next house for more candy. We did this for at least an hour and that was all I could do. Plus Ella's bag was full. Now the question is what do we do with all of that candy?
Sunday we headed to an early lunch and then Nana and mamaw had to get on the road to go home. Ella was very upset. She keeps asking me when Nana is coming back. Nana will be back in 4 weeks for the birth of Parker. Ella is very happy to see Nana again, but not so happy about having to share her with her brother. After we all took very long naps we took Ella to a clinic to get the H1N1 shot. She has to have one more dose in 30 days. My ob still does not have the shot, but hopefully they will soon.
