Normally, this blog is all about Ella and our adventures with her, but today it is also about this precious little baby that is almost cooked and ready to come out and me. In 2weeks and 6 days it will be about both of our children Parker and Ella. It is hard to believe that is all I have left. The pregnancy has flown by and I have been trying to relish each day of it including those not so good days, because I am almost 99.9% sure this is our last. My body does not really like pregnancy between the high blood pressure the first time and the diabetes this time around it has just been hard on me in that respect. I do feel like this time around has been easier in the way I feel and I attribute that to little weight gain and the crazy diet I am on. However, this past week has been the worst on me. I am no longer sleeping at all and the aches and pains are really painful. I do not remember having these terrible aches in my hips with Ella however I do feel Parker is much lower than Ella so maybe that is why. I think too Brad has had alot going on with work with a conference last weekend and a regional conference this weekend not only am I managing by myself when he is in class, but come Sat. it is still just Ella and I. Do not get me wrong I am grateful for Brad and totally understand his work schedule, but taking care of Ella on my own most days of the week can be tiring when you are as big as I am. Thank God for Brad because if he did not have this wonderful job and work like he did Ella and I would not be so blessed to have what we do. Brad is also a wonderful husband and father and pretty much dedicated every free minute to us.
Ella is really starting to understand she is going to have a baby brother. I think it both excites her and scares her alittle bit. She knows the attention she gets now will be divided, but she wants to be the mommy and help out alot - so I am going to go with that and hopefully it will be an easy transition for her. The next couple of weeks are all about resting, cuddling, and getting ready for Parker's arrival.
