It was nice to be home this weekend and get caught up on everything. I always feels so much better if I start the work week off with the house cleaned, laundry done, and feeling somewhat rested. I know I am lame. Saturday afternoon we went over to a friend's house for a football party where we watched both UofL and TN get beat. We both expected it and were even joking the team with the most points scored on them is the winner. We were both pleasantly surprised when our teams hung there, but still could not pull out the win. Ella had so much fun playing with the older girls and their toys. She told us a few times that she did not want to go home. Sun. afternoon we went to church and then I went to a monogram party. It is a neat idea. A girlfriend of mine down the street has a machine that can pretty much monogram anything. I got a few things for Ella. She is having another one in Dec. so hopefully by then I will be sure of little man's name and he can have a few things too.
Ella is doing great. She is always talking about something, which I enjoy. It is nice now that she can communicate because she can also understand when I ask her to do something. Her temper tantrums have been much better the last few weeks. While I welcome it, it makes me wonder if we are going to pay for her being so good. Either way I will take it. My favorite time of day with her is right before bed I will lay with her for about 10mins and we talk about her day and her friends at school. She makes funny faces at me and tells me she loves me over and over. She then gives me the biggest hug. When I try to leave she tells me, "mommy lay down on the pillow and rub". I know I am probably starting something by doing this every night , but I enjoy it more than she does. I always leave before she is a sleep so hopefully it will be ok.
Baby Lesshafft seems to be growing really well as you can tell from the pics posted. I go to the doctor on Wed. and I will have a definitive date and time for the c-section. YEAH!!
