Weekend update

We have had a nice weekend at home. The weather has been perfect. I sure do love the Louisville Summers. For the most part it is very mild with the exception of a few weeks here and there. Saturday afternoon we started our search for baby boy bedding. Brad and I came to a compromise. He wanted a sports theme and of course I did not, but we found a really cute sports theme one on-line so that is what we went with. I just keep thinking I am going to be looking at sporting things for the next 18years of my life, but he is a boy and that is what boys need! I do agree. We will be able to use some of Brad's nice Louisville prints so that is a bonus.
Saturday evening we went to a cookout in the neighborhood. I do love all of the new girlfriends I have met living in this neighborhood. All of our kids are around the same age and of course there is always at least 3 pregnant women to be found in the crowd as well. Ella was of course shy at first, but after about 10mins she was running all over the place having a blast.
Sun. we spent all day at home and at the pool. I am working on going through Ella's things and cleaning out closets. I was surprised that I did find a few gender neutral sleepers and onsies I can use for the new baby. I also am realizing how many things we need. New bedding, a changing table, new bottles, lots of clothes and a glider. Whew, how it adds up, but it is fun to be in the baby stores again shopping. This could be the last time.
