Wedding Weekend

Brad and I got back from Jamaica Sunday evening for my brother's wedding. It was a wonderful time. It has been a long time since Brad and I have had a trip by ourselves. While we missed Ella a lot and were ready to get home at the end of the trip, we really enjoyed ourselves. My mom, grandmother, Jenna's mom, and sister were at the wedding as well. The wedding was beautiful. It was on the beach and the weather was perfect ... a little overcast, so we did not die from the heat. The rest of the trip was spent eating, sleeping, and laying on the beach. You can really not ask for a better vacation. On short trips, that is exactly what I want to do.

It is hard to believe my brother is now married. The happy couple was glowing with joy. They were definitely enjoying their stay at Sandals as well. They were waited on hand and foot and breakfast in bed. The perfect Honeymoon!

Thanks to Pops and SuSu for watching Ella. Ella was spoiled rotten. She now has a few new outfits, stuffed animals, and a new ball too. (Basically whatever she wanted, wherever they went.) On Monday when they left, she was a little sad. She walked around the house asking for Pops and Susu. I kept telling her they would be back in a few weeks for her birthday party.

I am off from work this week and am loving every minute of it. Today we went to the zoo with Lauren and Leanne. Ella had so much fun and took the best nap when we got back. We are going to spend the rest of the week going to the park and playing. It is supposed to be great weather.
